Book a Religious Ceremony love

Our step by step guide will help you to book your wedding ceremony at Anvil Hall.

The guide below is for wedding ceremonies performed by a Minister at Anvil Hall.

 
 
1. Choose the date and time for your Marriage.
2. Contact us in one of two ways: by email or by telephone: 01461 337971.
3. We will send you out your marriage notice (M10) forms along with our confirmation letter detailing all the relevant information required to complete them.
4. The following information should be included on the forms M10:
• Place of Marriage e.g. Anvil Hall
• Name of Celebrant i.e. name of Minister
5. Send Marriage Notice Forms M10 to:
Gretna Registration Office, Central Avenue, Gretna, Dumfriesshire DG16 5AQ, Scotland, UK.
• Send up to 3 months and no later than 15 days before the ceremony.
You must enclose a cheque for £60.50 made payable to The Registrar.
6. The Bride or Groom must collect the Marriage Schedule from Gretna Registration Office on the day of the wedding or up to 7 days prior to the ceremony (please note: Gretna Registration Office is closed on a Sunday and Monday).
7. Hand the Marriage Schedule to the Minister just before the wedding ceremony
8. Return the Marriage Schedule to Gretna Registration Office within 3 days of your ceremony.
NOTE : Gretna Registration Office is closed, 25 to 28 December and 1 to 4 January
