Book a Civil Ceremony

Our step by step guide will help you to book your wedding ceremony at Anvil Hall.

The guide below is for wedding ceremonies performed by a Registrar at Anvil Hall.

1.	Choose the date and time for your marriage, the registrars perform weddings Monday to Sundays.
2.	Contact us in one of two ways: by email or by telephone: 01461 337971 to check available dates/ times.
3.	The fee for a Civil Ceremony performed by a Registrar at Anvil Hall, Gretna: Monday to Friday - £245.00 Saturday - £325.00 Bank Holidays - £366.00 We contact the registrar to perform the ceremony. You will receive information regarding this payment and the legal requirements in due course.
4.	Fill out the Marriage notice forms (M10 forms) which we will send to you upon booking.
5.	The two Marriage Notice Forms can be submitted up to 3 months and no later than 15 days before the wedding.
NOTE : Gretna Registration Office is closed, 25 to 28 December and 1 to 4 January
